Bailey Bryan recently dropped her new EP, "Sensitive Bad Bitch Music Vol. 1". In this project, she goes through the highs and lows of the dating world; and finding her identity. "Sensitive Bad Bitch Music Vol. 1" is for the people navigating life and want to feel heard, and Bailey does just that in this EP.

“Passion” is the opening track, an upbeat, catchy pop song where Bailey communicates her needs in the dating world. She tells her partner she needs more passion in their relationship and she can’t be bought with superficial things. “F*ck all of your money come and spend your time / Spend your time on me / Tell me all your fears about the future.” Bailey captures the essence of her generation's dating scene without settling for less.

Bailey expresses the anxious attachment she experiences in her relationship in the second track, “Upside Down”. The lyrics are catchy while remaining relatable and vulnerable, which is what Bailey does best throughout this EP. “I’m so sick of setting myself up and needing closure / Wonder if we’re lovers or just scared to be alone yeah / I’m dreading the ending, yet we keep on getting closer now.” This relationship is complicated, as she’s enjoying her time with her partner, she’s also dreading the end of it because of her anxious attachment. Bailey later comes to terms with the inevitable and learns to enjoy time in the relationship.

“Tragic” is stripped down to an acoustic track, where Bailey confesses her flaws in love and decides to end a relationship she knows she isn't ready for. “Don't wait up for me, I got a long way to go / Go get what you need I'll be getting gone / Know what it could be, maybe in another life / Don't wait up for me, I'll be fine.” She’s not afraid to be real and portray herself as the villain in her own story, or to look like the bad guy to listeners. Bailey’s vocals are smooth with a hint of sadness as she reflects on what the relationship could have been vs. the reality of it all.

In the fourth track of the EP, “RIP”, Bailey is on her journey of self love and sheds her old insecure ways. She’s distancing herself from anyone that’s not cool with the new and improved version of her. She won’t revert back to her old self for anyone. “RIP to the old me / Knew me last year, you don't know me / Running from the expectations / I don't wanna keep on faking.” “RIP” is empowering, and Bailey embraces change instead of being afraid. Listening to this song in the midst of bettering yourself could be the catalyst for life changing decisions.

“Iykyk” is a fun and funky bop about having a lowkey relationship. Bailey makes sure her partner is good at keeping them a secret by signing an NDA. “I know you know, I'm coming right back / Keep it on the low, no need to type that / Doin' sh*t for show is not the motive, baby, why ask? / If you know, you know / You know it's like that.” The instrumental gives summer vibes with jazzy saxophone inputs, the breakdown at the bridge emphasizing Bailey’s sultry, playful vocals. “Iykyk” is all about having a good time in secret, and the “woo” ad-libs and the laugh on the closing chorus shows just that.

Bailey closes "Sensitive Bad Bitch Music Vol. 1" with an epic, heartbreaking ballad, “Credits (Outro)”. She sings about a tragic breakup that left her blindsided. “Yeah, I hope you know / You showed me that I could do it on my own / And now that's all that you getting credit for.” Bailey’s sad and fragile vocals singing, “it’s over, yeah it’s over” over a slowed track captures the emotional ending of this relationship.

"Sensitive Bad Bitch Music Vol. 1" is for every phase of life. Whether you’re going through heartbreak, reinventing yourself, or are in a complicated relationship, Bailey’s got you covered. Stream "Sensitive Bad Bitch Music Vol. 1" on all streaming platforms.
