Blake Rose posts "Gone (Live Session)"

The Australian artist shares “I try to give listeners an experience. I take a lot of time with every element to make sure I’m creating a world people can immerse themselves into. Whether the narrative is precise or ambiguous I try to attain a certain level of depth with each song that I hope people can latch onto and let it be as much a part of their own story as it is mine.”

“Gone is the first song that I’ve written an actual string arrangement for within the production, as opposed to just layering chords. It’s a super emotional part of the song that I really wanted to highlight so incorporating it into a live version was a really exciting idea for me.” Blake explains, “Hearing it come to life once we all played it through properly for the first time was an amazing feeling and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

“The guitar is generally the driving link between the songs,” he goes on. “It’s how I typically write. Everything starts there.” AOver the past year, Blake has started from busking in the streets of Perth to becoming a rising pop artist, and he has opened up for Alexander 23 (Interscope Records).

Gone’ (live) is out everywhere now.

Gone” is available to stream worldwide.
