Concert Review: Alec Benjamin at the Echo LA

I've been supporting Alec for almost 2 years now, and I'm so proud of how far he has come. This was his first headline show in California and he did truly amazing!! He opened up with I Built A Friend and his new singles The Boy In The Bubble and If We Have Each Other. The crowd was singing along and it was such an intimate environment. He forgot the lyrics to his Stan-Eminem cover, so he "made up for it" by singing a new song he was working on called Steve, by singing in the crowd-it was hilarious. After the show, he met EVERYONE who waited in line. He's one of the most genuine and sweetest artists and people I know. Plus, for each show, he gives away something random, like a bag of yeast or a melon. For this show, he gave away a baby doll and cards for the baby, and he ended up giving them to me and my friend Emily haha. This was one of the best shows I've been to and I'll always support Alec. I love the way he tells stories through his music and how honest his lyrics are-that's tough to find nowadays. I'm excited for his next show during his first upcoming tour! Look out for his new incredible music.
