Concert Review: Set it Off: Midnight Tour, Millvale, PA

On March 2nd, 2019, I attended Set it Off’s Midnight World Tour with openers L.I.F.T, Super Whatevr, and With Confidence, at Mr. Small’s Theatre in Millvale, PA. This concert in particular had an energy that I can’t quite describe. The crowd sung in unison the whole night and Set it Off’s lead singer, Cody Carson, was all smiles when he heard.

Skyler McKee of Super Whatevr put on an emotional performance, preaching awareness for those who struggle with depression and anxiety.

I unfortunately missed out on L.I.F.T, only catching the end of their set. But I listened to their music afterwards and they’re now one of my favorites! This concert was my first time seeing Super Whatevr live and I was more than impressed. Their music carries a deep message and I was fortunate enough to meet lead singer, Skyler McKee!

This was my third time seeing With Confidence and my second time shooting them. They’re always so much fun to photograph and they’re one of my favorite bands to see live.

The Midnight Tour was also my first time seeing Set it Off. I became a fan of them after hearing the first single off of Midnight, ‘Lonely Dance’, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Their fans are like a family and proudly held up the SIO symbol during multiple songs. I was thoroughly impressed with this concert and enjoyed myself even from the back of the venue. I’m proud to say I’m now a fan of every band on the Midnight Tour!
