Lauren Jauregui releases "Always Love"

"Always Love" is a ballad from my soul. I wrote it after a profound break up in my life; it was my way of processing the complex emotion that I was feeling where I knew that I was no longer supposed to be with this person but I truly loved them so much. It was a reflection on the beautiful and not so beautiful parts that made our story what it was and a reminder to them and myself that even though it didn’t work, it’s Always Love.

The video for Always Love was created with the intention of capturing the longing for the person you’re no longer with. It takes you through a morning alone in my apartment dancing with the memories and ghost of my past lover. We feel him as if he’s there but then realize I’m simply left with the memory. There’s a nostalgic peace captured because as the song says, even though it didn’t work, it’s Always Love."
