Singer, song-writer and actor MAX (a.k.a Max Schneider) released his second studio album titled "Colour Vision" on September 18th, 2020. The album is full of collaborations with both features and guest producers.
The album has been one Max has been working on for a long time, which is very easy to tell by the beautiful aesthetic he has created through out each and every song, and the colorful world he has created. The first song, "Colour Vision" shows off everything Max wanted this album to represent, and it's truly a chill inducing song. His beautiful voice sings out "Every colour so heavenly, I could not look away", as he invites the listeners into his brilliant and vibrant wonderland.
The themes vary from song to song, where he sings about his wife (and mother to be), Emily, and their highs and lows with "Circles", and songs about the daily grind and being a work-a-holic with "Working For The Weekend". Yet even when singing about more negative scenarios, he still manages to paint a beautiful picture for everyone to see. Max did not work alone on this piece of work, and made sure to include many of his friends throughout the entire album. The aformentioned song "Working For The Weekend" was produced by Indie-Pop trio, AJR, and also features the rapper bbno$.
The latest single off of the album, "Blueberry Eyes" features none other than SUGA from BTS, who has worked with Max a few times in the past. Quinn XCII, Felly, Chromeo, and Hayley Kiyoko are also featured on the album. This album is truly just an incredible experience I think everyone needs to try.
