Nashville-based band Nightly releases their debut album, night, love you. via BMG. Featuring upbeat singles like "the car" and "you should probably just hang up," to cinematic tracks "the movies" and "mess in my head," and the vulnerable, stripped ballad "older," Nightly, recorded and co-produced most of the album in quarantine with long time collaborator Keith Varon.

As a longtime fan of Nightly, this album is truly beautiful. Their lyrics speak to my soul and the album incorporates transitions that contribute to telling the various stories of each song. Nightly has a unique sound that makes me want to dream and live in those infinite moments. I highly recommend this album to anyone who loves synth-pop!

One of my favorite songs is "Older" because I can relate to it and it makes me tear up because of how raw the lyrics are.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Coldplay and The Killers to Tears for Fears and Miguel, Nightly is a band that never shies away from writing songs that are deeply confessional and relatable, the tracks on this album being no different. "We just try to write about things that are real to us," explains Nightly's frontman Jonathan Capeci. "It means so much to know that could somehow help other people with whatever they’re going through in their own lives.”

Formed of cousins Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta, and drummer Nick Sainato, Nightly have released a steady stream of music since their 2016 debut honest EP, which featured the 10 million-plus streamed single “XO.” Having amassed over 100 million streams on their music across all platforms, the band is excited to release their debut full-length album.

"From the beginning we've wanted to be an album band. 'night, love you.' was the sentiment behind the band name, so in a way this is our semi-self titled debut," explains Jonathan. "It's deeply personal, and we couldn't be more proud of this record. All of it was created in Joey's basement which feels full circle from where we started, making songs in a tiny apartment. All of the songs were written this year with the exception of the closing track which is one of the first songs we ever wrote. We always knew that we wanted to save it for our debut record, now it's finally yours."

The music of Nashville band Nightly is made for moody introspection, for late-night daydreaming or driving with no real destination in mind. With their heart-on-sleeve lyrics and impassioned brand of alt-pop, each track feels as private as a secret and cathartic as confession. And in their sing-along-heavy live show—a highly visual event that adds new color and detail to the Nightly aesthetic—those songs take on a strangely unifying power, turning personal heartache into a shared experience.
