Point North Launches Fundraiser for No Kid Hungry

Alternative rock band Point North launched a fundraising challenge to benefit charity No Kid Hungry along with their $10,000 donation. The band will donate the first $1,000 to start the campaign and encourage others to contribute to the cause if possible, with the goal of raising $20,000 for No Kid Hungry.

"While there are many charities and causes we in Point North want to help, we decided No Kid Hungry would bring immediate aid to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic," the band shares. "With schools being shut down, millions of children could lose access to everyday meals. Through No Kid Hungry, every ten dollars equates to 100 meals for these children in need. While there are multiple active measures being taken, we felt the need to do our part. We understand the impact this pandemic has had on all humans and the economy. No person should lose sleep over how they are going to feed their kids the next day. We hope this donation inspires others to do the same and help as much as they can so we can keep those who are less fortunate from going hungry in these unprecedented times."
