Samina shares: "Prom is a love letter to my summer after high school. It’s funny to me that everyone knows Prom is a night that never quite lives up to our dreams. Finishing this song was my way of closing a chapter in my life, even though it’s been years since, even though it didn’t live up to my dreams. "
