With a groovy, layered rhythm paired against powerful vocals, The Driver Era gives a nod to Peter Pan and feelings of the love that you have for another and how imperative it is to make every minute matter. On the track they sing,"You make it alright / a lost boy for life / and Neverland with me / And I will hold on until I'm not strong / Cause this is worth forever to me."
With the two brothers writing, performing, and producing all of their tracks, "Fade" is a perfect representation of the band's creativity and dedication to their art. "This song is actually a few years old, but it just took some time for people to believe in it enough to put it out,” Ross said. “I’m really happy the song is finally coming out. The song is all about the inevitability of fading away.. making the most of every moment."
"Fade" is just one of many hit singles released this year, including the latest drop "Places," "Take Me Away," and the double release "OMG Plz Don't Come Around" and "flashdrive". The Driver Era's 2020 World Tour has been postponed with dates leading into summer of next year. For a list of all 2021 tour dates and ticket links, please visit thedriverera.com/tours.
Since their debut in 2018 with their hit single "Preacher Man," the brothers have self written and produced every track they've released, including tracks from their 2019 album X - the anthemic "Feel You Now", the live-show crowd favorite "Scared of Heights" and their alt-radio hit "Low". In late 2019, the guys unveiled a double release, "A Kiss" and "Forever Always," despite being apart while Ross was in Vancouver filming Parts 3 & 4 of Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The turbo-charged "A Kiss" grasped the attention of BBC Radio 1, with spins by DJ's Annie Mack, Mollie & Matt, and Jack Saunders. "A Kiss" currently sits at over 13 million streams.
